     What is the Digital Divide?      Although it may seem like everyone has equal access to technology, that is far from true. Digital Divide is the difference between those who have direct access to the internet and technology and those who do not. Examples Some rural schools do not have access to high-speed internet, leaving students with no access to technology in school.  Some parents do not have digital literacy to help their children at home with technology issues or apps.      While yes, most students in America do have access to technology, there are still many schools across the country that don't have as much as others. Some still have old school printers, no laptops or smart boards, and have a bad internet connection, especially in rural areas.
